After a few weeks of 90+ degree temps, the Cedar was a little warm for much excitement in the river,
but through some serious patience I (Matt) managed to land my largest walleye to date. With a non-functioning drag and no net
to assist in the landing, I still managed to bring in the walleye measuring 24". This may be considered a pretty weak "personal
best" but it's pretty good for the Cedar and not bad since I've never actually gone "walleye fishing". Outside of this fish,
my weekend fish count totaled 7 small smallmouth bass.

Brian managed to bring in a walleye that we're calling around 17" but he wasn't able to hang on to it long enough to
measure.
