Matt and Julie's 2000 Superior Hiking Trail Journey

This is more or less just a brief photo album of our trip in September of 2000. For those of you familiar with the trail, we started at the County Road 6 trailhead and hiked south for 4 easy days, ending our walk at Silver Bay. For those of you not familiar with the trail, you can learn about it at the Superior Hiking Trail website. We tried to time our hike for the peak of fall colors and we ended up doing so almost perfectly, as you'll see. The weather was warm and the scenery was beautiful. The Superior Hiking Trail comes highly recommended from us. You don't have to hike for days on end, many people just come to hike for a few hours at a time. Enjoy!
