| Julie spent a long weekend in Minneapolis hanging out with her sister and family. Matt drove up Friday separately (no vacation - doh!) through a Wisconsin-sized blizzard that turned the 6 hour drive into a 9.5 hour white-knuckle stress test. During the weekend we were able to catch a couple hockey games (actually Julie caught a 'couple', Matt caught 1) and hang out with our friends from Alaska, Bruce and Monica. They were in town watching their son, Jason, play in the USA Hockey National Championship Tournament (which is of course why we were watching hockey as well). I think they actually have the better pictures of all of us from the hockey games, but I've posted what we have here. We were also able to see Ryan and Jennifer, friends from our U of MN days, and their relatively new family during the weekend. | ||||||
