Matt has documented much of his high jumping knowledge. The source of Matt's knowledge is from 4 years of jumping for Dr. Phil Lundin at the University of Minnesota, followed by 5 years of jumping in open and invitational meets as an unattached athlete. While in college, Coach Lundin provided Matt with many resources to further his jumping knowledge and during the 5 years of post-collegiate competition, Matt coached himself and kept meticulous training logs and notes and did extensive research on the event.
